I would like to invite you to a 3 hour workshops that has been designed to help practitioners and organisations in sport and physical activity to improve their performance in the area of Equality and Human Rights.
The workshops are free to all attendees and have been funded by the Equality and Human Rights Commission and is being promoted by Sporting Equals. We would encourage you to take up this offer as it will address the key aspects of Equality and Human Rights in sport and physical activity as well as to examine barriers to participation and to help organisations to develop priority actions for improving their performance and to increase participation with harder to reach groups in your communities.
The workshop has been tailored for staff and volunteers from National Governing Bodies, Local Authority Sports Development and facility providers, Sports clubs and organisations and community sport partnerships/networks. The workshop will also assist organisations seeking to attain the Equality Standard for Sport.
